Access consultant / Guildhall Access Pilot

In Autumn 2024, Abi led an Access Pilot within the Production Arts Department at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This consisted of observations on one of the school’s Dramas, and discussions with Production Arts students and staff from a number of different departments. The pilot culminated in an extensive report laying out current practice regarding access in areas including staff training, student education, student access, audience access and content warnings. Recommendations given in the report went on to be woven into institutional and departmental strategy and planning, and included the addition of Access Education to the Production Arts curriculum.
